ACORN TV, the first TV streaming service dedicated to British content, added another quiver to its bow this week with the North America debut of new episodes of popular crime series The Midsomer Murders.
Acorn’s growing library now features more than 125 hours of British drama, comedy and documentaries, and is available for just $2.99 a month. Among the channel’s other offerings are Keira Knightley and Sam Neill in Doctor Zhivago; Sally Hawkins and Imelda Staunton in Fingersmith; the classic Robin Ellis/Angharad Rees costume drama Poldark; David Suchet in Agatha Christie’s Poirot; Damian Lewis in The Forsyte Saga; Tom Wilkinson in First Among Equals; Derek Jacobi in Cadfael and Martin Shaw in George Gently.
