ONE OF THE leading members of the British expatriate business community, Paul Wright, has been honored in the Queen’s New Year Honours List, being named an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in recognition of his services to British Business interests in the USA.
Paul is an English Barrister and California Attorney. In 1990 he formed Paul J. Wright & Associates, a law firm based in Malibu, California specializing in domestic and international transactional and litigation matters. He has successfully represented many US and UK companies and individuals in the business and entertainment communities. Mr. Wright is in his second term as President of the British American Business Council Los Angeles and served as its Chairman from 2008 to 2009. In 2011, Mr. Wright was a founding member of the Board of the Variety Foundation and served as its General Counsel. He is on the Board of Britweek and serves as its General Counsel.
