World’s longest-running soap opera now available on your PC…with Daily Episodes on VOD
TECHNOLOGY is a wonderful thing, as Coronation Street fans will be the first to tell you following this week’s announcement that the world’s longest-running TV soap is now available on demand on Hulu.com
This week Hulu launches 11 episodes, plus two Christmas specials, from Season 53. The streaming site will offer new episodes every weekday for free and through subscription via Hulu Plus, on a two week delay after the show airs across the pond.
The show counts stars such as Snoop Dogg and Sir Anthony Hopkins among its fans, and has aired more than 7,500 episodes over the past five decades since its debut in 1960, and regularly attracts over 10 million viewers per episode.
