CRICKET fans and expats are encouraged to visit the Woodley Park Cricket Complex in Van Nuys this weekend (Saturday, March 30th or Sunday, March 31st) for the opening weekend ceremonies of the Southern California Cricket Association (SCCA).
This year the SCCA is honoring a visiting team of British Army soldiers, as well as members of the LA City Council and the Los Angeles City Parks officials to the event. The program goes from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Visitors can enjoy lunch and support the teams playing at this leafy green facility, just off the 405 and 101 freeways in the Valley.
