Apparently the film legend told stunning singer Leona that he listens to her hit song Bleeding Love every day. Er… Really?
The word is the Oscar-winning plays the track while he runs and is a big fan.
Our Leona couldn’t believe it when he came over to pay her the compliment. A source said: “He was charm personified and told her he listens to I See You, which was nominated for Best Original Song, but lost out to The Weary Kind in Crazy Heart.
The thing that surprises me most is not that Marty’s a fan of Leona – granted she is one of our finest exports after all – but that the legendary director likes to listen to power ballads when he works out! I had him down for more of a rock ‘n’ roll man, especially as he’s worked on a documentary about The Rolling Stones and a film about Bob Dylan.
Maybe he’s softening up in his old age and he’s all about the sexy divas now. Can we expect to see a documentary about Celine, Mariah and Whitney as his next project? Hmm… Hollywood never ceases to surprise me!
