What could be more British than the Sport of Kings on a Saturday afternoon? The British American Business Council in Los Angeles has teamed up with the Malibu-based nonprofit Safety Harbor Kids, Tesla Motors and Brits in LA to present an afternoon of Polo to raise funds for a worthy cause: education for American orphans and homeless children. The event takes place in the very cultured grounds of Will Rogers State Park in the Pacific Palisades, this Saturday, September 7th, from 1-5pm. Guests should wear white and bring their best hat!
Tickets (other than General Admission) include: a gourmet meal, wine tasting, high tea, gift bags, open bar, celebrity red carpet, music and entertainment and a best hat contest. Advance reservations are preferred, but not required (note there will be limited availability for the VIP section at the gate). Prices range from $45 for general admission to $145 for the VIP lounge. General Admission tickets are readily available at the BABC website at www.babcla.org.
Safety Harbor Kids (SHK) is a 501c3 formed to enrich the lives of parentless and homeless children through education in the areas of college, career, music and the arts.
