Cheryl set for £2m Xfactor comeback!

[adrotate group=”9″]

Good news for Cheryl Cole fans; the former Girls Aloud singer has landed a whopping £2million deal to make a sensational return to The X Factor.

The Geordie lass is the only star to have thrashed out a contract with boss Simon Cowell for the UK version of the next series.

cheryl-coleRumors that ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is continuing on the panel have been dismissed as “wishful thinking” according to my moles in the ‘X Factor’ camp.

Take That star Gary Barlow has quit and I hear that Louis Walsh, 61, and Sharon Osbourne, 61, are unlikely to return… Oo-er…

My well-placed source hinted that Chezza’s comeback had been Simon’s “main priority” in a total revamp of ITV’s talent show.

The insider revealed: “All this talk of Nicole’s deal is premature. The only judge in talks is Cheryl.

“Talks have been going on for weeks and Simon has been doing everything to persuade her. Finally, she has agreed. Simon believed Cheryl’s return was the key to his new ideas for the show.

“Nicole’s not been completely ruled out – but not for the £3m some have suggested. Only Simon earns that.”

Cheryl was a massive hit during her three years as a judge, but she quit in 2011 to join the US version, only for producers to worry that American viewers would struggle with her accent.

Welcome back Chezza!
