THE Saint Andrew’s Society of Los Angeles is holding its annual Robert Burns supper on Saturday, January 25th at 6pm, at Altadena Town & Country Club, 2290 Country Club Drive in Altadena.
This celebration of Scotland’s favourite son on the very day of his birth in Alloway, will include the traditional toasts to the Lasses and the response as well as the time-honoured toast to “The Immortal Memory”. Together with uisge beatha, haggis, music by “Speyside” and dancing. For Scots and those who wish they were, this is the one event in the year you will not want to miss.
