Last chance to see Jason and the Argonauts in Beverly Hills…

1389995676_JasonArg010THERE is still time (just) to see a charming show based on a classic Greek myth as the Visible Fictions team from Scotland present Jason and the Argonauts at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, 470 N. Canon Drive in Beverly Hills between now and February 2nd.

Using two actors, a handful of action figures and one incredible wooden cart, this charming production innovatively recreates this classic story. Jason’s uncle isn’t exactly lovable…he’s murdered his brother (the king) and stolen the crown and now no one dares stand up to him.  After being banished as a baby, our wannabe hero returns to claim his rightful throne and make some big changes.

The New York Times described the show as a ‘Sly, silly, sophisticated and altogether winning take on an ancient Greek myth’. The show lasts for 65 minutes and is suitable for children aged 9 and up.
