British actor Orlando Bloom was joined by his son Flynn for the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles Wednesday.
The 37-year-old was all smiles on what was surely one of the most important days of his career.
“For a kid in London, Hollywood seems like such a mythical place,” the Three Musketeers star told Variety of the honor.
Little Flynn, whose mother is Australian Supermodel Miranda Kerr, helped commemorate his father’s accomplishment, pulling back the rope guarding the star as his proud papa grinned.
Flynn even helped Leron Gubler – the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce CEO – with the roped display during the induction ceremony.
The Lord of the Rings hunk sporting wavy locks laughed as his mini-me clutched the rope in one hand and a bag labeled ‘sugar’ in the other.
Aside from his unkempt hair, Orlando looked dapper posing with the 2,521st star in his slim cobalt-blue suit and crisp white shirt.
Bloom, who split with Kerr after three years of marriage in October 2013 have remained amicable and were last, spotted looking very friendly at Vanity Fair’s Oscars after party in March.
”We love each other,” Bloom told Katie Couric of the former Victoria’s Secret Angel soon after the split. “We’re a family. We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives.
“There’s no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn.”
Congratulations Orlando!
