Local expatriate Scottish group the Saint Andrew’s Society will hold a member lunch on Sunday, April 27th from 12.30pm at Ye Olde King’s Head, 12969 Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, in whatis the first of what organizers plan to be a monthly opportunity for members to get together informally. The initial gathering will be an opportunity to discuss future meetings and how the Society can make this an attractive and worthwhile social occasion.
Readers planning to attend should contact Marc Gibson (marc.g@verizon.net) and let him know by April 20th so he can notify the venue of many will be attending. All attendees are encouraged to wear highland dress – kilts for men, sashes etc. for ladies.
