Was there a particular reason you chose LA?

I always wanted to study in America after being obsessed with living here as a kid. Then when I visited LA I fell in love with it and decided to research drama schools here. Auditioned and got in.

What one thing do you miss from home?

Can I have more than one? Going to Old Trafford! Robinson’s squash and a good roast!

What do you find the biggest difference is living here versus the UK?

The biggest thing obviously is the weather. You really take for granted the fact that it is sunny and warm here every day. But after that it’s the lifestyle, I think LA living is just so much easier than London. The laid-back attitude and driving in the sunshine to work rather than sitting under the armpit of an overweight businessman on the tube.

Do you have a hidden gem in LA that you want to share with us?

There’s this amazing little sushi place on Vermont called Starfish and also a great Thai place on Hollywood/La Brea called Pink Pepper.

What would you suggest to others who are thinking about making the move here?

I think it’s very different now from when I first moved over but I think you should definitely make sure you’re prepared both financially and emotionally. It truly can be the city of dreams at times but there can also be difficult moments. Make sure you’re prepared for the highs and lows. And make sure you get all your visa stuff sorted early because that can be a bit of a nightmare! I personally recommend Next Stop LAX. I am mates with the guys who run it but would recommend them anyway!

Lastly, how can we find you on the Internet?
