He’s been linked to several high-profile women since his break-up with Kristen Stewart last year, but now Robert Pattinson is reported to be in his first serious relationship since KStew.
This week reports have surfaced that he 28-year-old star of the Twilight movie saga is dating rising British singer FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett).
Oo-er!
The hunky actor has been dating ‘twigs’ for a couple of weeks now a source close to the couple said: “It’s the real deal between Rob and Tahliah.”
“They had been able to keep their relationship secret until recently, but they’re already smitten.”
“He’s been taking her on dates for the last month or so, and has even flown her out to stay with him in New York. He also loves going to her gigs.”
Twigs (the FKA stands for ‘formerly known as,’ added after another artist complained that the name Twigs was already in use) has already created quite a career for herself in music, earning huge praise for her second EP and singles including Water Me.
And the 26-year-old, who was shortlisted for the BBC’s Sound of 2014 award, is hoping that she avoids any drama with Rob’s ex, as well as dodging being pigeon-holed as just a celeb girlfriend.
Meanwhile, KStew was thousands of miles away in Japan, where she is promoting her new film, Equals, a futuristic utopian thriller in which she stars with British actor Nicholas Hoult.
Pattinson and Stewart have had an on-off affair for many years, and Kristen’s affair with director Rupert Sanders in 2012 appears to have finally put the light out on their Twilight romance.
Pattinson’s latest film Life will be released in 2015. He recently told The Guardian that he’d like to appear in “something in a really small theatre”.
He added: “I don’t think I could do something on Broadway… But I’d quite like to do something kind of shocking.”
