He’s only been married for a couple of weeks, but British actor Eddie Redmaynehas already discovered an advantage of his recent nuptials to PR-girl, Hannah Bagshawe.
“We came into LAX yesterday and when you are married, you can go as a couple up to passport security,” he told reporters at the 26th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala last Saturday.
“Normally it’s quite intimidating! They were much kinder to me when I was with my wife so it’s fun.”
After tying the knot on Dec. 15, The Theory of Everything star, 32, and his new wife took a honeymoon over the holidays.
“We went away over Christmas and it was wonderful,” said the movie star. “We went skiing for our honeymoon.”
What an amazing year 2014 was for Eddie! The actor has been receiving rave reviews for his turn as a young Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything”, for which he was nominated for a SAG award 2015 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama.
The nod came just days before Eddie and Hannah got hitched – though he is quick to laugh off the prospect of “awards season” but his remarkable physical transformation from a lively young student into an older man battling the symptoms of motor neuron disease is classic Oscar bait.
So who knows..? I reckon his chances are at least…even Stephens!
