Actor Daniel Radcliffe has shaved his head for a new movie role. What a tough boy!
But the British star’s new look isn’t exactly for the armed forces — his buzz cut is for his role as a government agent posing as a neo-Nazi skinhead in the upcomiung movie Imperium.
A far cry from the rumpled locks of his Harry Potter days, the star’s new hairstyle (or lack thereof) is distinctly military-like, especially since he was sporting a long-sleeve camo shirt with his shorn tresses.
Daniel, 26, shared the photo of his new ’do on his Google+ page and the picture has since been widely circulated by Radcliffe fan sites.
He wrote: “Hi Everyone. Here’s the first look of me as FBI agent Nate Foster in IMPERIUM.
“We began filming the movie this week. I’m very excited about it and will tell you more about it soon!”
‘Imperium’ is based on the real-life story of Michael German, an FBI agent who went spent several years posing as a neo-Nazi so he could infiltrate and investigate US white supremacist groups.
Radcliffe will play an up-and-coming agent called Nate Foster who goes undercover in a bid to prevent home-grown Nazis from building a dirty bomb.
Daniel Ragussis is making his feature film directorial debut and also wrote the script based on German’s experiences. Imperium is expected to be released in 2016.
Radcliffe may look like he’s cut his own hair with a cheap pair of clippers, but being worth £64million, we doubt that’s the case….
