The world was left shocked after the pop legend David Bowie passed away last Sunday.
But it seems David’s legacy is set to live on in a new biopic — which could feature his friend and doppelgänger Tilda Swinton.

“It’s remarkable how much Tilda resembles David in his younger days despite the fact she is female,” a source told the UK Daily Express.
“That and the androgyny that he loved to present as part of his image makes Tilda the perfect choice to play David in the inevitable event of a film being made of his incredible life.
“Tilda will have first refusal on playing a true icon.”
There has long been similarities drawn between the pair due to their androgynous looks, pale skin and matching hair styles.
Tilda is a huge fan of the singing sensation and has even starred as Bowie’s wife in his music video The Stars (Are Out Tonight).
In the actress’s 2015 movie A Bigger Splash, in which she plays a rock legend, she revealed her biggest inspiration for the role was Bowie.
But let’s not get too excited just yet.
A representative for the actress stated: “I can confirm this is not true.”
Even though I too can’t see it ever happening (though stranger things have) – I reckon Tilda would make a great David Bowie…Let’s keep an open mind!
