British heartthrob Charlie Hunnam, who starred as the leader of an outlaw biker club in the hit TV series Sons of Anarchy, has bought a house in the Outpost Estates area of Hollywood Hills for about $2.76 million.
Oo-er!
According to the LA Times, the property is ‘fronted by a courtyard with a fountain and has vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, arched doors and windows and a formal entry with Spanish tile floors. A formal dining room and a step-down living room with a remote-controlled fireplace and drop-down projection screen sit off the entry area.
It also boasts landscaped gardens, an outdoor swimming pool and fireplace and numerous patios.
Part of a housing tract developed by Charles E. Toberman in the 1920s, the two-story Mission Revival-style home was renovated and restored by previous owner and musician-turned-developer Tony Clearwater.
The 35-year-old Hunnam is known for his role as Jackson “Jax” Teller on the FX series that concluded in 2014 after seven seasons.
Among his film credits are Deadfall, Pacific Rim and Crimson Peak.
Charlie will also star as King Arthur in upcoming Guy Ritchie flick Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur, due out early next year.
Nice to see our British talent doing well in the States!
