No problems at home, insist celebrity couple
When David and Victoria Beckham decided to sell their luxury pad in France, the news immediately prompted tabloid rumors that the duo were having marital issues.
Not so, said Victoria, telling leading glossy mag Grazia that they’re beyond fine; they’re wonderful and that couple’s decision to unload their Cote D’Azur getaway has nothing to do with the status of their marriage.
And retired soccer legend David echoed his missus’ sentiments about their “pretty easy” relationship in his recent interview with ABC News. “We’ve been together for 18 years, we’ve been married for 16 years,”the athlete, 40, reflected in an interview last month. “So you trust each other’s judgment. I think that has worked for us.”
In fact, he praised Victoria for her “incredible” commitment to her work. “My wife, you know, she’s a hard worker,” David noted. Indeed, the one-time pop star debuted her Spring 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week, where David and their eldest son, Brooklyn, were seated front row.
The non-story started with a non-source who went on record with RadarOnline that the couple were having marital problems, prompting the headline: “David & Victoria List $3 Million French Estate Amid Divorce Rumors,” adding, “hardly ever would you see Victoria queuing for a croissant in the village boulangerie.”
How camp!
The Beckhams have been married for 16 years and share four kids, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and Harper, 4. According to Victoria, David is so much more than her spouse and the father of her children.
The webloid goes on to point out that the selling of their home comes after David was spottedf “flirting with two different brunettes while at a SoulCycle class in Los Angeles,” while also pointing out how “the Beckhams also severed their business ties to each other.”
But fear not folks and Beckham lovers, because a source super close to the duo tells me that this story is “total bull”.
Looks like Team Beckham will not be a man down anytime soon!
