Former 80’s heartthrob Matt Goss has revealed that there was an ultimate pop couple that never quite came to be – him and Victoria Beckham.
The Bros singer made the astonishing confession as he prepares to go back on tour with his brother for the first time in decades.
The 48-year-old former boyband star admitted that he had a crush on the star – but he wasn’t willing to compete with Becks.

Matt’s revelation comes after former Spice Girl Victoria revealed in her autobiography that she fancied the singer during his 80s heyday.
She wrote: “I was convinced I was going to marry Matt Goss. I was so obsessed.”
Now Matt has confessed at one point the feeling was mutual – but unfortunately they were never meant to be.
He told Closer magazine: “Victoria is such a lovely girl. I had a crush on her too, but I think she made the right choice.”
Victoria went on to marry David Beckham while Matt has been connected to a string of beautiful women – including former MTV host Daisy Fuentes, Mel Sykes and, most recently, singer Rebecca Ferguson.
