Singer ZAYN Malik has admitted that he and Harry Styles were never pals, even back in their One Direction days.

Clearly not moving in One Direction but rather opposite paths, Gigi Hadid’s beau revealed all to Us Magazine.
“To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry – even when I was in the band.
“So I didn’t really expect that much of a relationship with him.”
Zayn, who previously had a Twitter spat with former bezzie Louis Tomlison, also shared his relationship status on Niall Horan and Liam Payne.
And safe to say, ‘It’s complicated’.
He continued: “We’re in touch. Everything is on a civil level.
“It’s not the way it used to be, obviously.
“We were spending 24 hours a day in the band, now we’re growing as individual men but we still check in.”
However, despite his somewhat frosty feeling towards his old bandmates, Zayn wouldn’t completely rule out a 1D reunion – much to the delight of One Directioners everywhere.
“If I wanted to come back in 10, 15 years time, then yeah, why not?” added Malik.
“I don’t know. If I didn’t want to [be in the band] then I might not. It just depends on how I’m feeling at the time.”
The band’s fierce fandom perhaps should not hold their breath for One Direction: The Comeback Tour however, as Z is loving the more sedate pace of being a solo artist.
“We were basically going at, like, 500 miles per hour. We did everything to an extreme in the band.
“[Now] it’s not as full on, it’s not as extreme, it’s not as in-your-face. It’s at my own pace.
“So this way, it feels 100 times more manageable. It’s just easier. It’s a lot less work.”
In the meantime, Malik is prepping for the release of his sophomore solo effort, which he recently kicked off with the dynamic Sia collaboration Dusk Til Dawn.
