Is love story in the stars for Jedi’s Boyega and Nyong’o?

As Star Wars mayhem grips the world once again, I can report that British star John Boyega want Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o to play the love of his life in an upcoming movie…

Oo-er!

John, who might have ticked off a lot of boxes in the last few years – with starring roles in Star Wars and Pacific Rim, and being best friends with Harrison Ford, stars with Lupita in new film Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and said he’s keen for the 34-year-old actress to play “the love of his life” in a new movie project.

Talking to Complex about his upcoming roles he has in the works, John said: ‘Pacific Rim: Uprising comes out next March and I star in it and produce it as well through my production company, UpperRoom Productions.

‘It’s been fun. I’m hitting different genres. I’m still trying to convince Lupita Nyong’o to be the love of my life in a movie. That really should happen,’ the 25-year-old said. He also said that even though he’s open to most film genres, there’s one he will not touch. ‘I’m not closed to any genre except horror. It’s never really been a thing to me. But I did watch It and it was bloody good.’

What if Lupita will only play the love of his life in the second It film? Then what John?

Meanwhile, John joined Lupita at the London premiere of The Last Jedi on Tuesday night – but John didn’t come alone, he brought his whole family along with him.

I think John and Lupita would make a great on-screen couple… And I for on will hitting the movie theater this weekend to see Star Wars… Roll on the popcorn and hotdogs!
