Ant & Dec reveal secret Hollywood movie plans!

The British entertainment duo Ant Mcpartlin and Declan Donnelly are desperate to revive their acting careers and star in a blockbuster Hollywood movie together.

Oo-er!

The inseparable telly hosts known as Ant and Dec admit they would love a return to their Byker Grove acting roots.

The 42-year-old duo found fame after meeting as PJ and Duncan on the Newcastle-based children’s television series in the late 80s.

They now plan to beef up one of their Saturday Night Takeaway “film” plot-lines to impress Tinseltown’s bosses after seeing the rise of fellow Brit stars such as James Corden.

On a return to acting, Ant said: “We love it. That’s where we started. It is a slightly different discipline for us and it reminds us of being back on Byker Grove.”

The move back into acting comes as Ant continues to throw himself into work following his stint in rehab for drug addiction last year.

He added: “Let’s not run before we can walk!

“Look, we’d love to do a movie but let’s see…”

In the new Saturday Night Takeaway series starting on ITV this weekend, Ant and Dec will feature in a follow up to last year’s The Missing Crown Jewels spoof drama, starring a host of celebs.

In 2006, they starred in their first feature film, Alien Autopsy, a funny reconstruction of the 1995 scandal which saw two British men fake footage of an alien autopsy.

News of their acting return comes after it was revealed that Simon Cowell has asked the comedy couple to re-record their former hit Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble to mark 25 years since its release…

Hmmm, I’m not sure that’s a very good idea… Hollywood is one thing… But as for a pop chart comeback, best leave well enough alone, boys!
