After 11 years assisting Brits to develop their skills, build their showbiz careers and expand their support network in LA, international talent is now being added to the mix to strengthen global collaboration and cultural exchange.

So if you are new to LA, talented in any area of the film, TV or games industries and looking to develop your career, this could be the program for you. Please see the requirements and application details below.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Newcomers Program is a four-year new talent initiative, recognizing and supporting international rising stars who have recently moved to Los Angeles to further their development and career.

Since the program’s launch in 2007, this initiative has recognized the long and fruitful legacy of UK talents moving to the US to expand their knowledge, develop their skills, and expand their network of peers.

In its eleventh year, the program has expanded to include international representation to further deliver BAFTA’s mission to promote cultural exchange and strengthen global collaboration. We would love your help in connecting with international talent here in Los Angeles who might be interested in the program.
