Brief encounters just the tonic for Mark and Michelle!

Long distance relationships often prove to be pretty tricky – especially in Tinseltown.

But British host Mark Wright has told ITV’s Lorraine Kelly Show that he and Michelle Keegan have a special routine to make sure their marriage is kept alive.

Many may speculate on how they get by but after spending months apart, but the former ‘Towie’ star, who is now a presenter on showbiz news show Extra explained there’s really only one thing that they can do – have secret love visits.

Oo-er!

The former reality star told Lorraine: “I’m a bit jetlagged today as I’ve just come off a flight a few hours ago as I’ve just been home for the weekend.

“When I get a couple of day off I fly there and when she gets a couple of days off she flies here.

“It’s easy enough – we just make it work as we’re young.”

Of course, Lorraine wondered why the media don’t see them together as much, as asked about speculation that their marriage has been strained.

He responded as diplomatically as possible, saying: “We’re together – we don’t always report when we see each other but we make it work.

“We don’t have kids yet and while we’re young and chasing our dreams we make sure things are good.”

The couple got married in 2015, but there has been a great deal of speculation about the future of their marriage. Since arriving in Los Angeles, Mark and Michelle have been mixing business with pleasure by heading out on a series of dates including a swish Oscars bash and a trip to Universal studios.

Michelle has also been seen attending castings in the city as the actress starts her bid to crack the US.

Mark also works as a celebrity reporter for Lorraine’s ITV show, giving gossip about celebrities from across the pond…

And we love having him here!
