A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the Insta life and the selfie culture we find ourselves in today.
Well this week Eileen and I visited Fun Box in Thousand Oaks. Described as an ‘Epic Pop-Up Museum Celebrating Toys’ it’s truly a place that will kill the Internet (at least for an hour or two!). A place with 18 photo opportunities in one. From a sea of flowers, smiley faces, an infinity room, giant crayons, thousands of felt alphabets, a room full of pink piggies, a tunnel of teddy bears, and an upside down room (just like ‘The Twits’) and much more. Oh!…and and to top it all off a giant bowl of fruitloops to dive into.
The Fun Box is located in the Oaks Mall on Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks and is open daily from now through January 3rd. Expect to take about an hour to enjoy your way through. It’s well worth the 45- minute drive from Hollywood to get three weeks worth of insta moments. Lol. For more information visit funbox.com
MOO-VING ON: Heifer InterNational held their annual fundraiser last Sunday on the backlot of Universal Studios with a catered buffet by Wolfgang Puck, great cultural music and some fun photo opportunities with some cool animals. BiLA members Richard Rennie and Alex Loxton made the most of the moonshine that was available and were seen giggling and lusting after the bartender. It was a beautiful hot day, and the event was organized by our good friend and Brits in LA key member, John Scott and it was wonderfully organized on the Back to the Future town square….and it was all in a great cause. Heifer International is a global nonprofit working to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable, values-based holistic community development. Heifer distributes animals, along with agricultural and values-based training, to families in need around the world as a means of providing self-sufficiency. Recipients must agree to “pass on the gift” by sharing animal offspring, as well as the skills and knowledge of animal husbandry and agricultural training with other impoverished families.

A quick shout-out to my fiancé Michael who turns the big 50 this week. Love ya baby!
