British actress, Martine McCutcheon has sent her fans a little surprise throwback earlier this week, when she shared a Love Actually throwback.
She said: ‘Me & Hugh at the French premiere of Love Actually… We were staying at the Ritz and we were treated like royalty. ‘Even our dressing gowns and slippers had our names beautifully embroidered on them.’
Sharing an exclusive picture of herself and Hugh Grant from 2003, the star opened up on her time filming the classic movie. Addressing her 217,000 followers, the 42-year-old spoke about the picture and how she felt as though she was ‘living a fairytale’ while part of the cast.
She added: ‘The cast had a wonderful dinner in Paris after the film was shown and we all talked and laughed into the wee small hours… I felt like I was living in a fairytale.’
In the picture Hugh can be seen gazing down at his co-star as she beams into the camera. Fans were besotted by the 58-year-old’s look, and took to the comment section full of excitement.
One wrote: ‘He looks like he’s fallen in love with you,’ while another swooned: ‘That look! My names Natalie and always makes me blush when he calls her it.’ Someone else said: ‘One of my all time favourite films. You lucky girl getting to smooch Hugh Grant!’
The actress has recently spoken out about the movie, and revealed that she would be up for starring in a sequel, but thinks director Richard Curtis is done with the tale.
While appearing on This Morning, Martine was asked about the possibility of a sequel, to which she said: ‘Of course as a jobbing actress I would love to do it, I’d love to be with that amazing cast again. ‘But I think he kind of did it with the Comic Relief and the film together, that was Richard Curtis’s dream come true I think. I can’t speak for him, but I think.’
Last year, the “Love Actually” cast reunited with director Curtis for a Comic Relief special – creating a short sequel to update fans on what the much-loved characters are now up to.
Martine’s Natalie was still happily in a relationship with David, who had recently regained his position as Prime Minister.
