BABC hosts Innovation in the Workplace night in WeHo

THE BRITISH-AMERICAN Business Council, in association with HSBC, will hold the latest in its Speaker Series at 7.30am on Friday, March 8th at Investcloud, 700 North San Vicente Blvd, Ste G671, in West Hollywood to discuss Innovation in the Workplace with featured speakers Gawain Liddiard, Natascha French and Jeremy Balkin.

     Gawain Liddiard is Emerging Technology/VFX Supervisor at The Mill in Los Angeles where he works closely with clients and artists to deliver complex, innovative content. He has led led a variety of high-profile projects including acclaimed Super Bowl spot Audi ‘Doberhuahua’, Visa ‘A Very High Dive’ and Taco Bell ‘Play the Future First’. He also supervised the double Gold Cannes Lion-winning Google Spotlight Stories ‘HELP’, an immersive 360-degree short film directed by Justin Lin.

     Natascha French is a strategic marketing executive with deep experience navigating brands through immersive technology to drive revenue and maximize customer engagement. As the Chief Marketing Officer of VNTANA, a leading augmented reality platform for creating and distributing premium mixed reality experiences, Natascha oversees the company’s sales and marketing strategy.  Prior to VNTANA, Natascha began her career has a journalist for CNN, and launched over 50 brands working for various branding, marketing and communications agencies globally.

     Natascha graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism, having prior studied at the University of California, Berkeley.

     Jeremy Balkin is considered a leading international expert on ethics in banking, fintech and the strategic engagement of millennials in financial services. He is currently Head of Innovation for HSBC and based in New York, where he serves on the U.S. Retail Banking and Wealth Management committee and is responsible for the fintech innovation and exponential growth strategy for the US. 

     Jeremy is also the multi award winning author of two books, Investing with Impact: Why Finance is a Force for Good, and Millennialization of Everything: How to Win When Millennials Rule the World. His acclaimed talk at TED about ethics in finance has been viewed nearly half a million times on YouTube and he also serves as an advisor to the world’s leading fintech accelerator, Startup Bootcamp in New York.
