History was made at the latest Brits in LA Pub Quiz when Denise Littlejohn caused a big upset, becoming the first ever solo player to win.
“I’m stunned,” said Denise, pictured at the Cat and Fiddle with quizmaster Sandro Monetti and her $75 winnings for leaving rival teams in the dust.
The Ohio transplant added, “Thank you so much to Brits in LA for welcoming me into your fun community.”
Denise, who plays under the name Quizabeth the Second, had scored a recent string of second place finishes with various team-mates but played alone this time and grabbed the win by outpointing her closest challengers, team of three Isaac Newton-John.
