Fun and games are always on the menu at our popular pub quiz each Tuesday at the Market Tavern.
The pub was packed for the return from vacation of quizmaster Sandro Monetti and his witty, wacky and testing questions.
The Lad and the Ladies came close to trivia victory but had the consolation of winning a sticky toffee pudding in the singing round – helped by having West End stage star Lauren Samuels (right, orange top) in their team.
In the end, the ultimate glory and the free drinks went to The Return of Coathangers, who will return on May 10 to defend their title. If you think you have the brains to dethrone them…come along and test your wits against the Brits!
