Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell will step in as a guest judge on X Factor while Dannii Minogue is off having her baby, I can reveal.
Geri secretly joined show boss Simon Cowell, Irishman Louis Walsh, and Cheryl Cole, as the Glasgow auditions kicked off earlier this week.
Geri, said: “I love The X Factor!”
A well-placed ITV source said: “Simon asked his celebrity pals to join X Factor and they didn’t need asking twice. They’ll all add something new and fresh to the panel.”
Halliwell was previously a judge on Popstars: The Rivals, the very show which discovered X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and her Girls Aloud bandmates, so it’s going to rather interesting to see how those two get on, now that Cole is the bigger star of the two…(Ouch, I didn’t really say that … Er, Did I!?!?)
Other guest judges rumored to be taking part over the coming weeks are Lily Allen, Robbie Williams and Charlotte Church.
