The stage hit of LA’s festive season was A Very Die Hard Christmas, a musical parody of the hit movie mounted by a bunch of Brits.
Every performance was a sell out and every review was a rave for the show directed by Sandro Monetti and starring Niek Versteeg and Lauren Samuels.
If you missed it this time around, you’re likely to get another chance next Christmas as all indications are that this is the start of a festive tradition.
The show, which ran at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills, literally just around the corner from the film’s Nakatomi Plaza setting, also features a charity record, I’m John McClane, to raise funds for victims of Aphasia, the illness which has stricken Die Hard star Bruce Willis.
