THE SCORCHING weather looks finally to have broken, bringing cooler evenings and (hopefully) more of an Autumn feel to the LA basin as the days get shorter.
There’s also change in the air at Ye Olde King’s Head, which is bringing back an old favorites and something new, to boot.
The famed Santa Monica pub has just brought back its popular darts league, Tuesdays at 7.30pm. If you’re a dab hand with the arrows head down to test your skills in some tough but fair competition with plenty of banter and some complimentary appetizers after all the calories you will burn. Even better there’s a free round of beers for all players, win or lose.
The pub has also introduced a popular line of mocktails for those who prefer to be abstemious, including the Dragonfruit and Secco Sunset (non-alcoholic sparkling rosé paired with dragonfruit and fresh fruit juices), the passionfruit n/a margarita, and even non-alcoholic gins, highland malts and a variety of non-alcoholic beers.
Finally, don’t miss their popular karaoke on Sunday and Thursday nights at 9pm
