Yup, the I Kissed a Girl singer geeked up for her turn at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, and debuted her new look to fiancé Russell Brand.
Beneath the braces, glasses polo neck and ankle socks is the woman who sings about wearing Daisy Dukes during the California summer, but Russ doesn’t seem to mind that she went in a radical new direction for the ceremony.
He didn’t appear on stage with her while she was presenting but he took the photo backstage and tweeted the photo, writing: ‘The real winner of the Teen Choice awards is… I AM! I won a fantastic new bride.’
Awwww. whatever Katy’s doing for the former hellraiser – keep doing it! We like this new softie version of Russell!
