Katy Perry will be stopping by 30 Rockefeller Center in NYC later this month to make her debut as musical guest on the season premiere episode of the popular sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Perry will be joined by host and former SNL cast member Amy Poehler, who currently stars in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.
The Saturday Night Live premiere episode will mark the beginning of the show’s thirty-sixth year on television. The episode will be broadcast live on NBC on September 25.
It is probably safe to assume that Katy will sing at least one song from her new album Teenage Dream in an effort to promote it, but I wonder if fiancée Russell Brand will make a cameo appearance as well. I have the feeling that, when it comes to Katy and Russell, anything can happen… especially when they are on camera live in front of millions of viewers!
