The Queen’s 2011 New Year’s Honours List named BABC LA Board Member Andrew Lewis, Consul and Head of Trade & Investment, Los Angeles, the recipient of the Member of the Order of the British Empire. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is an order of chivalry established on 4 June 1917 by George V.
Andrew Lewis manages the UK Trade & Investment team in Los Angeles, and under his leadership his team has become one of the highest performing in the world and over the years has helped more than 150 companies grow operations in the UK, creating thousands of new jobs while at the same time supporting thousands of UK companies with their market entry strategy to the United States. UKTI works in close partnership with the BABC and Andrew Lewis is an active board member in Los Angeles.
