The newly-crowned FA Cup holders, Manchester City, have scheduled a friendly match vs the LA Galaxy for Sunday, July 24th at 1pm at the Home Depot . The Brits in LA Facebook group are planning to buy a bloc of seats and hire a party bus. Those interested in going need to visit the group’s Facebook page and join before booking their tickets.
Since their purchase in 2008 by the fabulously wealthy United Arab Emirates politician Sheikh Mansour, the club have seen their status as one of the top clubs in England grow exponentially and earlier this week clinched a berth in the 2011-12 UEFA Champions League.
Under the management of Italian Roberto Mancini, City have assembled a roster of stars that includes 2010 FIFA World Cup champion David Silva (Spain), Carlos Tevez, YaYa Touré and England internationals Gareth Barry, Joe Hart and James Milner.
