Now, I’ve been quite supportive of Cheryl Cole over the past few weeks. All sorts of rumors have been flying about as to what really happened behind the scenes of her exit from the US version of the X Factor.
Was it all a big publicity stunt, was Cheryl ever truly offered her job back? Or was someone just trying to save face by cleverly planting stories in the press?
Well, I’d have to say that Cheryl was NEVER offered her old job back, in the UK OR the U.S and ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was always going to be judge on X Factor.
Friends in my circle were shocked when Cheryl was announced as part of the show’s line-up, we were convinced she was never going to be sitting on that panel of judges… And then mysteriously she was, and then mysteriously she wasn’t…
This is a real ‘X Factor’ X-File…The truth is out there!
The whole saga has been a disaster for all parties concerned from beginning to end. Cheryl’s ‘big hair’ and purple flared trousers worn at the launch of U.S X Factor didn’t do her any favors with the critics either.
At least Scherzinger got it right. However, I can’t help but think that all this drama has been premeditated from the start… Though I have to be honest, Nicole’s outfit is a whole sexier than Cheryl’s debut, but those colors look surprisingly suspicious. This clearly reeks of a stunt…
