PRINCE WILLIAM saw a familiar face at a reception in Hancock Park Friday night – David Beckham, who greeted the royal couple at the Consul-General’s residence on June Street.
Becks attended the star-studded bash stag, because wife Victoria was just about to give birth to the couple’s fourth child.
That reportedly prompted William to tell him: “Send all our love to Victoria.”
Beckham, 36, told the prince: “Victoria really wanted to come but she is just so tired at the moment. She sent you both lots of love.”
William, 29, replied: “Don’t be silly, send her all our love and tell her good luck with it all.”
And Becks addressed the rumors that Victoria had already given birth, adding: “I woke up on Wednesday to a ton of messages from our friends congratulating me on the birth of our daughter. I turned to Victoria and said, ‘Did I miss something?’
“It’s being reported every day that she’s already been born. Fingers crossed, she’ll be with us in the next few days.”
On Saturday night Wills and Kate hobnobbed with stars including Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hanks and Nicole Kidman at a Bafta event to promote UK talent.
On Sunday the couple did a brief walkabout in front of the consul-general’s residence to greet wellwishers,, some of whom had waited behind police barricades since Friday evening, to get a glimpse of the couple.
The couple were scheduled to fly home on Sunday afternoon on a scheduled flight.
