Duet of Barrie Plays extended at Pacific Resident Theatre

Scottish Original: JM Barrie

Barrie Back to  Back, an evening of JM Barrie’s Plays, has been extended at the Pacific Resident Theatre through October 2nd. Performances are  Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 P.M.; Sundays at 3:00 P.M.

Barrie, the Scottish author and dramatist who died in 1937, is of course best remembered for his creation of Peter Pan, but among his other works are the plays Rosalind and The Old Lady Shows Her Medals – two delightful, unique and rarely produced works which mirror each other, examining the theme of unlikely love in early 1900’s England with humor, wit and tenderness.

Directed by Marilyn Fox and Dana Dewes, this is the second show of the theatre’s 25th season.

Tickets are $20.00 to $30.00 with group rates available. Pacific Resident Theatre is located at 703 Venice Blvd. (four blocks west of Lincoln Blvd.) in Venice, CA 90291. One may purchase tickets on line at www.PacificResidentTheatre.com or at (310) 822-8392. Or visit: www.PacificResidentTheatre.com
