Socialite and part-time model Peaches Geldof has announced that she and fiancé Thomas Cohen are expecting their first child together.
The 22-year-old, who has been married once before (to musician Max Drummey), got engaged to Cohen last month, after the pair had been dating for a year.
In a statement issued earlier this week, Peaches’ spokeswoman confirmed: “Peaches Geldof and her fiancé Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce that Peaches is pregnant with their first child.
“Peaches is utterly thrilled and they have the full support of both of their families who are equally excited for the baby’s arrival.”
Peaches, has grown up in the media spotlight and carved out a niche presenting a number of youth TV programmes including Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind and A Beginner’s Guide To Islam.
Her father is musician Sir Bob Geldof, while her mother, Big Breakfast presenter Paula Yates died from an accidental heroin overdose in 2000, at the age of 40.
The big question for us of course, is will the fruit of Cohen’s loins will bring an end to Peaches’ wild child ways? Watch this space…
