It’s so good to see Gerard Butler is bouncing back after spending a little time in rehab.
The actor was back on the party circuit merely days after being released from his three-week stay at the Betty Ford Centre after deciding he had become too reliant on painkillers.
Butler, 42, was looking fit, healthy (and very tanned I might add), dressed to impress in a tuxedo as he walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar party last Sunday at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.
The 300 star also made an appearance at another industry party thrown by the Weinstein Company at Soho House, and was overheard telling a fellow partygoer that was felling ‘pretty good’.
Not only is Butler showing no signs of taking it easy off-screen he is also throwing himself back into his work on-screen, with three projects in pre-production, including two action films, Hunter Killer and Thunder Run.
After appearing to have re-gained a little bit of weight, Gerard has got himself a personal trainer and returned to a strict training regime.
His spokesperson said: ‘Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health’…
Good for you Gerard, I’m sure you’ll be back to your Spartan physique in no time!
