Welsh born beauty Katherine Jenkins has been chosen to compete on the hit U.S TV show Dancing with the Stars, I can reveal.
La Jenkins’ appearance on the show will be part of her plan to crack America with her already incredibly successful singing career.
The famed opera star, who recently split from her fiancé Gethin Jones, is no stranger to DWTS… – she sang live on the show back in February 2011, which went down a storm with American viewers.
Now back by popular demand, Jenkins will be put through her paces as she battles for the coveted mirror ball trophy.
And our Kath is no stranger to dancing either, having once performed onstage with ballet star Darcey Bussell back in 2009 in the singing-and-dancing hit Viva La Diva a couple of years back. Other stars announced to take part include Gladys Knight, former Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova and Little House on the Prairie actress Melissa Gilbert.
