I doubt Michael Fassbender has to worry about where his next acting job is coming from, though it’s always a good thing in his industry to save a few pennies here and there, just in case the work dries up.
That’s exactly what Fassbender does anyway, I’m told the buff actor, known for stripping full-frontal in the risqué movie Shame, has no problem getting his friends round to do a bit of manual labor for him when in need.
Take the roof of his London flat for example; instead of calling in a professional to fix a recent leak, Fassbender decided he would rather save a few bob and call upon a couple of his buddies to help him out.
The star said: “I’ve had leaks and stuff on the roof.
“I don’t like to get too carried away with architects and all that.
“A couple of friends of mine, one’s an architect and one’s an engineer in Dublin.
“They’re going to come over and take a look at it.”
Sensible lad…Michael is living proof, I guess, that even Hollywood stars are counting their pennies these days and there’s certainly no “SHAME” in that..
