Kristen Stewart has revealed that she listens to singing sensation Adele to focus on emotionally sensitive scenes when filming.

Stewart, who appears in Snow White and the Huntsman, says she found the British singer-songwriter’s emotional power ballads to be the perfect soundtrack to her character’s attempt to win back her kingdom in the big screen reworking of the ‘Snow White’ fairytale.

“I happen to just be listening to that album at the time,” referring to Adele’s massive selling album, 21. “The extremes of her emotion – when she’s got levity and she’s got light, it’s so light and when she’s down, it’s like devastating and it just reminded me of the movie, and yeah, I love her.”

But although her character is a strong young woman, Stewart said the horse riding brought out her real fear. The 22-year-old star said: “[It] scares me so much, when you watch this movie, you’re going to see genuine discomfort and genuine pain and fear, which is so much cooler than people faking it. Yeah, so riding the horses was NOT my favorite thing.”

The actress returns to the big screen later this year in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and expects the steaminess between her character, Bella, and Robert Pattinson’s Edward, to be even hotter during their loved-up moments.

“I hope to up it a little bit,” she said. “We have to ‘up’ ourselves a little bit every time.”
