Russell Brand has always rather reckoned himself… Here’s the latest outrageous statement spouting from the scruffy funnyman’s very annoying mouth…
Russ believes the Queen of England should knight him.

The silly ex-hubby of pop superstar Katy Perry has convinced himself (for some bizarre reason) that he DESERVES to be awarded this honour… Um, not likely, Russ!
Brand was overheard saying: “They can’t ignore me for much longer. I should have a knighthood.
“Otherwise the people will revolt.”
Amusingly, the Hollywood wannabe, who is currently promoting his latest film, Rock of Ages – appearing with an all-star cast including Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta Jones, went on to say, ”It hurts my heart.
It’s a great time in our country and I’m devastated not to be there.”
“I love the Queen and have never been so in love with her since I came to America,” he said.
How patriotic!
After hearing these comments, I guess all we can do is laugh along with Brand (or at him)… I mean seriously, Russell Brand receiving a knighthood is about as funny as one of his stand-up comedies… Er, not very!
