David Beckham must be taking lessons from his fashion designer wife Victoria on how to look miserable.
The soccer superstar was seen racing around Los Angeles on his motorcycle this week, stopping off to do a little retail therapy, alone.
Going virtually unnoticed by other shoppers, the 37-year-old father of four strolled casually around stores as he shopped for clothes on trendy Melrose Avenue sporting a mean and moody stare to anyone who caught his eye.
His trademark tattoos were the only giveaway as to who the hot guy in the beige trousers, dark T-shirt and black motorcycle helmet really was.
This look was a stark contrast to how David looked that evening, when he and his “ball and chain – oops, I mean, Mrs. Beckham – joined close friend, ex-Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria for a cozy dinner at swanky Italian restaurant, Madeo.
Well, looking on the bright side, at least Becks managed to have some freedom that day…
