Elton John’s wife David Furnish is well known for hanging out with posers, but who would have thought his own son Zachary would be starting so young, as he showed off for the paparazzi on the Cote d’ Azur?
The elite pair were spotted enjoying a boat trip in sunny St Tropez (…um, where else?) as David and his 19-month-old boy played happily together surrounded by a sea of desperate photogs trying to a catch glimpse of the cute kid.
Hubby Elton was nowhere in sight, but little Zach’ didn’t seem to have a care in the world as he bounced proudly on his beefy mom’s knee in the glorious French Riviera sunshine.
Film director Furnish has kept a low profile of late after hitting the headlines earlier this year when his scathing twitter rant against Madonna dominated the news.
Madge beat David’s husband, Sir Elt’ in the best song category at the Golden Globes, as she scooped the Best Original Song (Motion Picture) award for “Masterpiece,” which she wrote for W.E.
A competitive Furnish then tweeted an angry response to the Material Girl’s win, saying: “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism, and her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.”

This statement angered millions of Madonna fans worldwide and Furnish crawled under the nearest stone he could find.
